Quote from: KirbopherI used to do everything with colored pencils back in middle school-early high school, but nowadays I use digital coloring for most everything because it's more convenient for the work I do.

So you don't even have time to color your own drawings by hand?

Quote from: mr. sweaty assNot to mention the shading being from color straight to black, it gives the characters an empty and dead feel, especially in cel shading.I would choose what tone of colors to follow, and change the base color as I do the darkness.  This is much easier in photoshop, but still qute doable in flash.

Also I wrote this last night but had to leave it running since the caps game was heating up.

Munki's pose is one I always get positive reactions from, I used it on another character for a sketch I did and people liked it a lot actually.

Brawny's leg in the background was something I redrew like eight times and settled on the one pictured since people seemed to be okay with it. I didn't go nuts with on how many shaded-cels were on his skin, for instance, but I -did- try to line the darker parts away from the fire so that it would be an appropriate light source. Guess I didn't succeed too well with that. Also I'm assuming you're talking about the shaded areas and not the outlines, right?

Not regarding time, so much as just coloring digitally become much easier, plus none of my work at school or anything called using non-digital coloring tools, so just I stuck with what I was doing by that point.

Do it. That's what the bigwigs at any art studio look for.

I'm pretty sure if any of them saw Meat and his ability to raise his arms despite not having any shoulders, they'd shit bricks.
