This is looking pretty sweet despite the horribly faux-intellectual spiel that keeps popping up in the first half

I hope he does end up making it and i also hope that he doesn't make it too dark and serious, because it has shark people fighting which is laughably stupid (if somewhat cool) in its own right.

The animations a bit wobbly and over-animated (seems like he's constantly animating in ones) but still. Might shape up to be some good shit, I'm actually curious to see how it'd pan out.

Minor irritation: FLASH ARTISTS SHOULD STOP REFERRING TO THEMSELVES AS "SO-AND-SO STUDIOS"

Yeah I saw this the other day and was pretty amazed by it. But yeah the whole WERE PRETTY COOL CUZ WE HAVE A STUDIO thing does bug me.

It's still very nice though!

Seriously speaking though, I think people just do it for the "it looks cool at the beginning of the movie" type of feel, but maybe people do it because they work in a team, though it looks like only one person did the animation for this.

Ah well, looks pretty neato. Left a review.

i remember seeing a piece of this a long time ago, i thought it was going to be a cartoon and not a trailer. but i'm glad it's just a trailer because it's freaking 12mb , understandable i guess . in the end though the trailer will probably be better than the feature length

Yeah, at first i thought he was making it a series or a flash split into several parts or whatever but after looking up on it this seems more like a network pitch. He really should have used those title cards to actually explain the story though, cos if i was some big exec i'd have a billion questions rolling around in my head about what the fuck it was meant to be about.

I think he could have compressed it more (it was pretty short for its size) but there's a lot of filters in it too.

That's required to be there in some way if the movie is sponsored by the site. Otherwise people throw it in there just for the hell of it as far as I know.

it wouldnt be half as good if the sound effects and music weren't added. it really made it a lot better in my opinion. sound can really work wonders on how a flash turns out.

I fucking hate cryptic subtitles. Were any of those quotes supposed to make any sense?

And did anybody read the apparent summary in the author's notes?

It's about sisters who had lost each other."

All I saw were angry ninja fish men, the obligatory naked chick from Granfaloon's Valhalla Knights, and peasants who apparently got black belts in tae kwon do.

I really, REALLY don't know about this one. Especially since this two minute, low-res short capped at 12 MB.

Thing is he could have put these in as title cards thus explaining the characters, instead of the pretentious prose at the start.
