Simply put, I drew him simply for the fact that I love his music, saying that i have "traced a photo" makes no sence due to how unaccurate my drawing is to zekey's picture.

Okay, Im going to end this.
1) I didn't Trace, I used a referance of him from the back of a scatman cd.

2) Zekey, there is no bullshit with anything I do with my drawings. You're calling me out because you think I traced something that I didn't. its not critique if your shitting me with a picture of the same guy, accusing me of tracing. I never traced any picture since I got on tba and your ass knows it. theres a difference between tracing and looking at a image for help with lighting.

3) if you really think im tracing then explain my previous picture, the girl I drew was me giving a shot at realism, she had no referance. I figure I try drawing scatman the day after.

there is some freehand, but the outline of the face, ears and chin, and wrinkles on the chin match up

You can use multiple references to make a unique picture. This allows you more control in how you want the person/thing you want to look.
That looks nice and ok for training, but as you can see it looks  very close to the picture you
referenced.

i dont think grin traced, just referenced heavily and just did the same picture

so rather than drawing the scatman, he was drawing a picture of a picture of the scatman if that makes any sense!!
