Yeah, its because I been doing cel shading since I got here. Im way more used to it than soft shading, I mean if I had to shade this on paper, black and white. It would be much better. My personal problem is that I honestly don't understand how to do a similar shading that I do on paper on photoshop. you know what im trying to say?

yeah, and i think it's important to not treat photoshop like paper. naturally the brushes are all very air-brushy and that's almost always bad. if you want to use soft shading, try doing cel shading first, then blending where there aren't hard edges later.

the face doesn't match the head. the angle is off. i'd erase it and try again. her arms are also radically different sizes. i'd re-consider how you outline the breasts as well

The face is definitely off. I didn't notice the arms much...
Some of her hair is shaded that doesn't look like it should be... or there is some that isn't shaded that should be...
Also her hair doesn't seem to cast a shadow on her shoulders.

those cables sticking out of the turntable should be using the same point-of-view as the thing they're coming out of. which would just make them circles, but why not? they're distracting and give the focus away from the point of the picture, which i'm pretty sure is shadowfox
