i find nintendo's decisions retarded as well, but there's plenty of stuff coming out for the wii and ps3 that they dont show off at these 'conventions' which you could find easily if you didnt go to sites that suck as much as ign.

True, but these enhanced ports shouldn't even exist. It's just lazy of Nintendo to release these.  For example, we shouldn't even be able to experience Pikmin with controls like that until they hopefully release a Pikmin 3 for the Wii. (If the new Pikmin game gets released for the DS instead of the Wii, I'll be furious.)
