Let's try getting back on the topic of being banned because of a journal.

For this we have two examples.

Example 1: The guy mentioned in the starting post of this Journal,
He has every right to state his opinion, freedom of speach and all. But still!
He shouldn't type things that can be called "offensive", That often result in bans and this guy is a proof.

Example 2: Our very own RTIL got banned for posting a journal about a desktop wallpaper made by a MOD that wasen't "Rightfully Credited" or something,( I wasen't that involved in the whole thing) This causing a arguement that got out of hand and resulted in RT being banned from posting journals on Sheezyart.com
The entire thing is solved now and everything is back to the way they should be.

This leads to my point in this debate: Sometimes you should ban, and sometimes you should not ban.

Thank you. *bows*

Agreed and supported.
I'm all for freedom of speech/freedom of expression, but some people just frikkin abuse it like nothing else.

while people abuse the whole freedom of speech/expression, there is nothing we could do about it, I could say really offensive stuff, and be perfectly all right (legal wise) because I'd be entitled to it as my opinion, and maybe I'd even get police protection, depending on how public said statement was. but on the internets, there seems to be very little on forum rights...the admin is law. so deal with it!

people always rag on free speech. well here's the deal. just like a person has the right to his property, he controls what can and cannot be done on it within the bounds of the law. same with the internet. if you own a site, you can put whatever you want on it, but when other people try to put things on it you dont' want on there, you have every right to remove it.
