I know to some people photography isn't an art, but to me it certainly is one. Though my view on it is a bit different. There are many people who 'think' they are photographers with their camera they got at wal-mart and takes pictures of their friends, but I am not one of those people.

For me, taking a photograph means capturing a moment of life at the right time. It's almost like a chance though. And sometimes when those chances happen, I don't even have my camera with me. But when I do, I take my time with a picture, even though sometimes, it's only a few seconds before I can take it, I'll be ready for it.

ALSO, the only thing I do to my pictures are usually a small amount of cropping and resizing, I do not change the contrast, brightness, appearance, or color of a picture. I feel like it's cheating.

Anyway.... enough of that, now I'll show you some of my photos

Some of these are old and taken with not-so-good of a camera that I have now, so they might look grainy

Sea World
(Pictures of the animals at Sea World, California which I often visit)

Charlie: http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y69/paleo..._Paleo_Orca.jpg
This is actually the first picture that I was ever extremely satisfied with. I still can't believe that I took it with a disposable x_x  Oh yeah... and this dolphin's name is Charlie

Big Smile: http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y69/paleo..._Paleo_Orca.jpg
Ew... a grainy photo. I like the way this dolphin looks in the photo though, I forget the name...

Kasatka jump: http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y69/paleo...ka-Portrait.jpg
Kasatka, one of the orcas, and also another grainy picture... this was the first time I actually caught a jump, also.

Crunch: http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y69/paleo..._Paleo_Orca.jpg
Ah... Crunch... she's one of the playful ones, I've been able to get her to come over to me before 'cause of this trick I do...

Touch: http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y69/paleo..._Paleo_Orca.jpg
It isn't my best 'touching' photo, but I still like the way the lighting was in this one

Other Animal Photos (Pictures of animals in the wild or at other zoos and aquariums that I may come across)

Harbor Seals: http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y69/paleo...y_Paleo_Orc.jpg
I was the only person willing to get close to the seals... I don't know why everyone was so afraid of crossing the imaginary kelp line    But now there's people there at the cove that don't allow you to get close anymore because of the fear of the seals being 'harassed.' Because some people one night apparently clubbed one of the seals. People like that ruin the fun of wild animal encounters >:

Rooster Tail: http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y69/paleo..._Paleo_Orca.jpg
Rooster Tail is the name of that behavior, because the water seems to leave that impression. This is a common dolphin, part of a pod that consisted of a few hundred others.

Take off: http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y69/paleo..._Paleo_Orca.jpg
I can't believe I took this snapshot quickly enough to get this, it's not the best of seagull pictures taking off, but I still like it.

NEW! Vegas Dolphin:
http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y69/paleo...s/VegasPhin.png
This is one of the dolphins at the Mirage hotel in Las Vegas.

Other Photos
(Pictures of things that I thought were interesting and might make a good photo)

Link is DEAD: http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y69/paleo..._Paleo_Orca.jpg
The sad thing is that this was the man who wedded my mom and dad o_o;

Dana Point from a-top a cliff: http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y69/paleo.../DanaPoint4.png
I love that place, such a nice place to just go and relax

Sploosh: http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y69/paleo...tos/Sploosh.png
The only good picture I've taken of a wave crashing... that thing in it is just a piece of kelp

NEW! Cape Hatterus Lighthouse:
http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y69/paleo..._by_Paleo_O.jpg
I saw the lighthouse back in May on my senior trip, but it's like... a lot higher than I remember it when I was little. I'm afraid of heights e_e

Misc./Trash Photos (Just crap, not real photos at all)

DOOZIN: http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y69/paleo...otos/Doozin.jpg
He's not with us anymore >:

Candy: http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y69/paleo...hotos/Candy.jpg
My mom's dog, she's a mix between a lab and a basset hound XD

Ally and Rex: http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y69/paleo.../allyandrex.jpg
Two cockatiels that I used to have... I'm thinking about getting another bird soon, probably a conure, since those are pretty cool parrots, specifically a green-cheek conure because they're quiet, small, and loving.

Wyland: http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y69/paleo..._Paleo_Orca.jpg
My favorite artist! This picture was taken the first time I saw him. I saw him at two other seperate occasions and I plan to meet him again at those same events.

NEW! Angry Face with the Colonel:
http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y69/paleo.../Picture497.jpg
Yeah, that's me making the angry face. XD And that's my friend Ruka beside me.

Yeah, I know, it is scary XD the red eye just adds to it.

But yeah... it's a bit of an underbite really, since the lower jaw is literally longer than the top jaw
