Depressing News From Pennsylvania Suburbs

Well apparently my father's father, in his 70s, had died a few weeks or so ago in an area near Philly . My dad said this is what he heard, so it's not confirmed, and I didn't even know him at all, but to know the man who gave birth to my father is in the gravestone makes me sad, and I never met him too. To know that a person like this of relationship has died, I  cannot walk in the same shoes again, I cannot wear the same clothes again. I can retain my emotions, but envying the living has not come to my mind. As my dad uttered the words in a depressing matter, it sunk to me. Low.

What are your thoughts about this?

Heh, I'm not even that broken about it. It's just sad how I never met him, and he sounded like a very inspirational, and a very productive man; worker for NBC, cameraman, etc. My dad said he was abused a lot by him, and that his household was kind of a strict and religious type, but he seems moved by it because he hasn't seen him in 18 years.

My friend doesn't have a father. Apparently his biological father left his Asian mother even before he was born, and my friend probably is very affected by it. He's a smart guy, but he's just very clueless and nobody likes him. I'm remotely related to him, and we can relate to each other like that.

I'm not lying about mine. My dad told me about the news via cellphone. Don't believe me, I don't care. My father's father died somewhere in the East of the US, possibly in PA, because that's where they have lived for most of their life. I found a news article online in the obituaries that probably is his, but I don't know if he lives in Mass.
