When colledge age kids bring their portfolios of artwork for evaluations by various college professors on their transcripts in the hopes of getting into a better school or for job interviews.  I went to one last year when my portfolio was shit, and it was packed as all hell.

A great experience though, because I found a nice list of animation schools accross the country with a list of their majors and minors, which was how I picked out VCU.

Its some day where you can go into a bunch of art colleges and you can show them you're portfolio.
They give you criticism and advice on it and what not. I have a year before my senior year so this should help me before I start applying.

Yup, I did.
Though I did not notice how light the colors got when they dry.
but I did like how the colors blend together. Next time I play with this I'm gonna try to make more use of that.

i remember in sixth grade i would write avant garde all over "hello my name is" stickers in odd ways and stick them around the school

i associate that with the words "avant garde" more than anything else because it is deeply personal to me
