yeah youd love my pc then wps

the monitor is a big old beige piece of shit that I have stabbed and scratched and set certain parts on fire so that its blackened and deformed, plus while the plastic was hot I molded it into various odd shapes.

and the tower itself is a frankenstinan amalgamation of old shitty pc parts, the back of which consists of a shitload of useless holes that I don't think anything in the modern era was actually made to fit into.

also I don't understand anything that's going on in this thread because I'm not really a tech person so I cant help you out at all rtil! sorry bro! Other than for $1,000 I'd just get an alienware computer but thats just me and im not even sure if alienware is great or not but...  some models* have 4 seperate terabyte hard drives and look pretty cool and shit so I always like them but um yeh.

my computer is mostly one of those new big black shiny types but the monitor is some massive old beige CRT thing covered in dust, fingerprints, pen marks, and those stupid googly eye sticker things that they used to sell in cheap craft stores

building a computer is pretty easy
the hard part is getting it to work/not fucking it up
you could buy wrong parts too if you're not careful
other than that never buy a pre-built machine ! they come with  a ton of crap you don't want and they're always overpriced.

p.s. this is my monitor it is a BEAST. 15" viewsonic G773 . it has one of those extremely thick glass screens and it\\\'s got to be at least 30 pounds. but i wouldn\\\'t trade it for anything in the world ! it\\\'s got better color projection than most flatscreens and it\\\'s been good to me all these years ;\\\')

Ive been pondering about a thing though. I need a new hardrive, an additional 500gb one for more stuffs. But the only way to do that is to buy a SATAII. But then again, the thing is that my motherboard only supports standard SATA. However, ive heard that you can still use a SATAII on motherboards that arent SATAII enabled, by adjusting the jumper of the hardrive. That way the motherboard would treat it as a regular SATA, and after that its free to use. The only setback would be the transfer speed rate of the hardisk decreased to a standard SATA's speed.

Is this true?
