Ok so I just played it for a couple hours. The first hour was awesome. The second hour was mind-numbingly repetitive and boring. I turned it off in favour of watching a new episode of The Simpsons. (MAGMAR'D!)

The game really picks up after a few hours when the city opens a bit more and you get to start using the shooting mechanics. It has a really big learning curve and introduces you to things slowly.
