Yes, this game looks exactly like the other games. A shinnier, more polished turd.

I hate all these games anyway, SO IT'S NOT LIKE IT MATTERS WHAT I THINK I'M BIASED!

I think graphic wise GTA4 looks very disappointing.

Any new ones? Not really. Most new games are steaming piles, imo. I loved Mass Effect though. And the first Fable was easily the best game on the Xbox, for me.

I mostly like adventure games though. I liked the first 2 Mysts. I loved the old Sierra and LucasArts adventure titles like Day of the Tentacle and The Dig. I like games that aren't wrapped up in physics and all this gameplay enhanced hardware garbage. That shit doesn't matter to me at all. I'd much rather have a simple concept game where the beauty is in how you, as a person, play it.

I like games with nice stories such as Half-life 2.

Actually I don't but I played HL2 anyways and it was pretty nice. I barely play any video games. Used to play worms a lot and .hack// for the PS2 which is a great game by the way.

I enjoyed the Half-Life games alot. Very well put together, and I was engaged by them. I still like The Curse of Monkey Island more, but I'll take what I can get.

i dont understand why the fuck people argue over video games or why people say they like older games over newer games

who are they trying to impress

Ive put about 4 hours in GTA4 now, the shooting aspect is far far better, the cover system is very similar to Gears of War, still getting a little used to it.

As for the graphics, they look great when your driving around, sure they look a little blurry when your on foot and right up to a wall, but driving around looks fantastic and some of the indoor environments look absolutely amazing. There is almost no visible loading in the entire game, so the fact the game looks as nice as it does, the whole time, threw the whole city, without loading is quite and achievement. Also, ive driven threw a crowd of around 20 people with bodys flying everywhere, no to animations the same, absolutely no slowdown.

And yes, Half Life 2 is awesome, the end of episode 2 made me :(

Nostalgia makes everything look a thousand times better then they really were in your head. Ive gone back to play some games i thought were awesome as a kid, barely playable now. Not every game can be river city ransom. Fuck that was rad.

I just don't like new games. They're all practically the exact same thing nowadays. Maybe masked with a little this and a little that, but rarely do I feel like anything is even remotely original anymore.

I still play the old games I like, over and over. Whatever anyway.

What does it matter to you Ant if we want to chat it up about what we like. We're getting to know each other. It's a good thing.

Some guy at work today went out at lunch time to buy it. I hid it under his Wacom, he was so fucking funny when he was shitting himself!
I urge you all to hide a 30 year old gamer's new video game. The reaction is priceless.

Ok so I just played it for a couple hours. The first hour was awesome. The second hour was mind-numbingly repetitive and boring. I turned it off in favour of watching a new episode of The Simpsons. (MAGMAR'D!)
