first real relationship

I met this girl a few months ago and we've just started going out - i'm pretty sure she likes me, and I the same. We have a lot in common and it's going very well.
However, i'm still an ameteur when it comes to dating relationships, and girls for that matter. we haven't had any 'akward moments' yet, you know - no prolonged silences, or fights, disagreements .. but i'm afraid someday that might happen if i take a wrong step.
I know it won't be perfect - nothing is. but for example i haven't talked to her for 5 or 6 days now, but sometimes I think it's better to leave someone alone for awhile instead of incessantly calling them and such. We don't go to the same school, so we don't see eachother often.
What is really annoying to a girl? And what's generally unattractive or negative? If anybody has pointers tips, anything. Please tell.

Phoning her too often is not good but leaving her alone for too long is not good either just try to watch out for that. You'll eventually come across a conflict with each other so be prepared for it. Just keep your cool and you'll be fine.

Well, sometimes I can be a boring person. Around my friends, they say i'm the funniest and most ecstatic person they've ever met, but when it comes to girls or people i don't really know .. i change. I've been working on that a lot, and I have improved much over the years, but not enough - i'm still not myself, not even in front of her.

If you want a real relationship, the most important thing is to simply be yourself. You have to make sure that she knows exactly who you are and doesn't expect anything else from you.

most relationships are really dishonest, and it's why the divorce rate is so high.


Just be yourself, don't overthink it. If you feel like calling her, call, if you feel like getting her flowers, get her flowers.

If you aren't that kind of guy and really just don't think of those things though, don't sweat it, if she really knows you and is the one for you, she'll accept that about you.
