Angst is German for fear, actually.
The same word is used in the Dutch language.
Perhaps there are some more Germanic languages that use the word "Angst" for fear, but I don't know exactly.

I believe some British/American/Australian retardhippy interpretated it as "extreme astral emotion teh" one day and now it means something really gay.
