TheBackAlleys Alternate MetalGear Collab

Some users discussed interest in making their own Metal Gear collab but since nobody seems to be taking charge of this, and since I felt I was kind of responsible for it, I decided to. Also this will get everyone on the same page.

The whole point of this should be to get a rise out of people. You can do this by mocking typical videogame parodies, or by being extremely ignorant about Metal Gear. In other words if you've never played the game you're totally qualified.

It will be submitted with the thebackalleys account on newgrounds the same day as the other collab. You can use the file uploader here or send it to my email at brandonpclark at gmail dot com. Or catch me on AIM at bigarmybug. Just be sure if you do use the file uploader you should make a post in this thread saying you did cause I might miss it.

Keep all discussion about your social lives, what you had for dinner last night and dumb piracy crap in this fucking thread right here I want this topic to be clean and streamlined. So use this one to post anything about your parts, or whatever questions you got.

Specs and shit:

1.) 550 X 400 24 fps

2.) When you finish your part make it a movieclip.

3.) MAKE THEM FUNNY.

Deadline for this is MAY 13th, 2008.

I'm sorta still new to flash and stuff so I don't understand number 2  could you explain ?

It just means when you're done animating your part, select EVERYTHING and make it a movieclip. Or animate inside a movieclip. Also you need to rename every symbol in your library to something like bizzarecube_1 to bizzarecube_285120. Something specific like that so it wont cause conflict with other library symbols.

I think the deadline should be a little earlier. That way, the flash no matter what can be submitted the same day as the other collab without any trouble.

You're gonna want to change the e-mail address to something that's not @sogetthis im guessing). Unless you want to use a different name for the tba NG account in which case forget I even made that account and brought it up!
