actually second flash ive really done but first time with a tablet... still pretty new to flash and it's pretty short so bare with me... by the way it's Rtil's intro style, black with white outline.

better yet, don't do tweens, do fbf, unless you really need to to tweens.

you have a tablet now, right? use the pressure sensitivity. all your lines carry the same weight. things like the background of the city and the inner details of figures should have thinner outlines.

Not this. Integrating tweens into your FBF is a very viable professional technique, advanced tweening is difficult and can give you really good finished products. Any accomplished Flash user should be able to tell you that you should use all the tools Flash provides to make the best possible finished product you can make. (Okay that's pretty much me copying shit that Luis says haha)

But anyway, yes use the pressure sensitivity, but other than that it's a good start. I'd say it's a good storyboard basically... Not really finished yet, but good groundwork.

I use tweens for almost everything.

I was saying he should use fbf because it looks to me like it fits his style more.

Yeah but like I was saying, why not get the best of both worlds and plop some FBF into a graphic and tween it around. You can't always do this, no, but for something like a walk cycle or some such then yeah. I was more just saying it for Mishka's benefit because I luv him and I think he should be well-informed

For this flash in particular, I just think Grinace has a good start. Basically he could just take everything he has right now and redraw the art in it using the brush sensitivity and make the art look really good. And maybe add some nice music so it's not so dull. And add some ambiance, especially for the city shot, there could be a lot of lights and such in the city and a lot more detail going on, and if he was going to spend that much time on it making it look really swell he could even extend the shots so they get more exposure.

Basically it needs a lot of work. Just my opinion!

I didn't do any tweens...

And i find teh pressure weird on me... besides I have to return that tablet for another since it keeps on giving me this popup sayin that i need to reset the tablet althought i did that several hundred times...


Lol plus i did it in like a hour...

Is it the one that pops up when you turn your PC on?
or does it pop-up a lot when you try to use it?

Because everytime I turn my PC on I get a "tablet version mismatch" error thingy, but my tablet works fine so it's no big deal.

But if it's more than that then nevermind me!

i get a thing saying that " there is a problem with you tablet, blah blah reinstall it or restart system" i took off madd junk off of my pc so it seems to be working okay but i havent tryed Flash yet...

Rtil when you use Intous 3, did yours ever stop working for like 2-5 seonds (light stays blue when pen is touched) then starts acting normal again?

sort of, but that was only when it started to wear down , and the light would flicker and it was because the chord was getting mangled. i had to hold the tablet very still when i was working. if the light is still on and your tablet is not working, it could have something to do with your machine getting backlogged. is your computer very old?
