sorry i know this question has been asked so many times but we always seem to drift off topic, end up talking about wonchop or flaming each other and never get a difinitive answer

i think its about time i finally got a tablet cause i can draw 1000x better on paper than with a damn mouse

if someone could please link me to a wholesaler or the website of a descent producer, aka linux, would be grateful

im not sure of my price range just yet

i know there are no tablets that are exactly like drawing on paper, but i mean damn, i cant even draw circles with a mouse

if you cant contribute to this discussion dont post plz cause i dont wanna drift off

I got one of those cheap Intuos Tablets and it works like a charm for me, it was like $90 USD.
but this tablet laptop f0d speaks of sounds interesting, albeit expensive.

yeh if you want to save money buy a used one

mine is a toshiba satellite tablet laptop. you can draw right on the screen. pressure sensitivity and everything. best thing i ever bought.

Well, I just got my Wacom Bamboo a few days ago. But then I don't really have that much experience using tablet. The other one I use before is Genius's 3x4 which sucks big time.

The one I'm using is Wacom Bamboo Fun with the size of 4x5 (A6). You may prefer a larger area of working which is 6x8 but I'm pretty comfortable with 4x5. The price range for these tablets would be around $100 - $400 I think.

As for the tablet PCs the price is much more expensive. Newer ones are probably over $1000 but if you're lucky you may find a used one for less than $1000.

Lets wait for someone more experience to answer the information about tablet though. This is only as much as I know.

I have two tablets

One is a hanvon paint master which was a better than a mouse but I never got fully adjusted to it. It was 6x8 but ended up breaking and I had to send it back to the company and it took a long time to get an exchange. I haven't even opened the new one from the box. It worked okay for about a month but yeah it was a 100 dollar tablet and broke just threw use - so cheaper isn't always better.

My one that I use now is an Intuous for $400, by wacom. (6x8) 6x8 is the best size i think, you don't need bigger than that it mine works great. I really like the feel of it, and have had no real problems

I've never tried a laptop tablet but I have heard good things - zekey didn't you get one? How do you like it?

Anyone know the difference between the student wacom intuos3 tablets compared to the normal ones? I've seen the student versions priced at much less than the normal ones, the only difference I can tell is the name "student"

The intous3 4x6 ( i think ) is really good in my opinion. but it's $200, idk how much that is in euro...

from newgrounds

i needa make somethin for them but i still think its easier to animate with a mouse

the tablet is great for drawing though!!
