i have one of those old monitors with the really thick glass for a display, it must weight at least 30 pounds because moving it around is a nightmare. but the color display beats most flatscreens. my computer is some aluminum case i got for 20 bucks, there's a bunch of scrap parts in it my friends gave me. i need a new motherboard, i think it's so old it's the reason why most software doesn't run as good as it could

Up to that point it matches with my computer setup exactly.

Computer:
   AMD Athlon™ 64 Processor
   3500+
   2,20GHz, 896 MB of RAM
   Physical Address Extension

ATI Radeon Xpress 1200 Series, I believe that's my video card. It's Onboard.

My monitor has a degauss button on it :x

all monitors have degauss features on them
maybe not on the actual button layout but at least in the menu

MRat

My monitor is like Rtil's; old and heavy.

My specs are AMD 3.0 processor of some sort.

512 meg gfx card by Radeon of some sort.

1 gig ram

err. some brand brand new sound card.

300 gig hard drive.

uh i think thats it. oh and a wacom and mouse and lame keyboard and awesome Logitech Z4 speakers.
I was gone, FOR SO LONG

I already put out my specs in another thread, something i didnt put out there was the fact im running duel widescreen monitors, which help out with the flash workflow incredibly. You would be suprised how much easier it is to work when one monitor is nothing but the stage with the second having all your tabs, timelines, actionscript and whatever else filling up the other. Same applys to any other graphics program.

Ill take some pics of me set up tonight.

My computer is some frankenstinian hunk of shit that my uncle (A computer programmer) built out of scrap parts from all of his awesome computers... So yeah.

Its pretty average, only like 1.5 gb of ram or some shit and only like 36 gb hard drive storage.
Oh, wretched ephemeral race ... why do you compel me to tell you what it would be most expedient for you not to hear? What is best of all is utterly beyond your reach: not to be born, not to be, to be nothing. But the second best for you is—to die soon.

I'm pretty sure that nowadays monitors degauss themselves
