There is no such thing as an ipod

'ipod' is a marketing term for an mp3 player

Actually, iPods don't technically play mp3s. The files get converted when they're put on an ipod.

A friend of mine has a PSP and it can play .flv files (video stream things, same thing that youtube and all that sites use)

that's not true, it plays mp3's. if you go in the actual hd of an ipod and grab files, they'll be in the format you had them in when you uploaded them
