Project Indigo

Hey TheBackAlleys Community,

We are now announcing the beginning progress on AniGenTeam's first work, Project Indigo. After a while of time put into names and concepts for not only the project, but the group and the site itself, we have finally decided on an interesting concept for an animation based on a very complex subject.

Project Indigo is set in the modern time era somewhere in 2009. The focus on the movie is depicting the decay of humanity through the form of a film. AniGen's well-rounded team of five will be working on this project. In addition, my former mentor in flash animation, Mark Entingh (commonly soon to be known as "MyDarkEmbryo") is also jumping on board. He is a very good realism artist with seven years of flash experience behind him. He will be most likely helping with backgrounds, composing music, doing small tidbits of animation, and providing a little bit of script assistance.

At the moment, the project is only in its inception, so far only driven a few times through basic concepts and ideas in addition to a few concept sketches. The project does not have a specific release date at the moment, but we hope to get it done sometime in 2007. So far it has proven to be a fun project only in the beginning stages, but we believe it will be an awesome thing to pull off.

As the project gets bigger, so will our site, so if you're looking for some more info, feel free to go to www.anigenteam.com as IT progresses as well.

We hope to release this project in the near future. A lot of hard work in animation, storywriting, and music composure will be put into this, so when it finally DOES get released, make sure to examine the project not as a whole, but try to analyze the individual stats of the work, and call us on the things we can improve on for whatever sequels and/or future projects we will make.
