This is one of the only video game parodies I've actually thought was awesome, and certainly the only one I've favourited.

Ironic thing is I've never actually played Halo, just got the jist of it through countless crappy parodies.

But this one truly made me laugh, have a watch.

one thing iv just noticed is that alot of the aduio is jumpy, sometimes you cant hear the characters talking so you turn it up, then the gunshots and explosions almost blow your speakers out when they peak. you gotta use tactical volume control, which is annoying

it's funny because he did it on purpose. like he told me that the only reason he is making these is so that when he's done with all 4 he'll be insanely popular then he can make whatever he wants and everyone will love it or something.

too bad he doesn't know that by that time people will only want to see halo cartoons by him. also he's the first person i've met that actually admitted he made a parody just so it would be popular. oh yeah and he also wants some  money which he will most certainly get

his animation is basically super-flash-bros style with more work put into it. i mean how detailed of a master chief can you make without having a million tweeny parts on him

The only time I smiled was when master chief said "problem solved" and I don't even really know why I smiled. Didn't really like it.

I thought it was decent, I mean it could have been loads better and loads worse. I use to be kinda e-friends with old hansy - i know this really couldnt have taken him a year. I remember when he first start production he got up to them the whole "ONE MORE TO GO MOVE MOVE MOVE SOLDIER"  thing done in a weekend. He probably just 4chan'ed his time away or soemthing

Parodies are boring. Halo is boring. Tweens are boring.

But I like Hans, he put me in his comic project, and he's looking at taking on a minithingy by me and a guy, so I vote 3, because at least he made SOMETHING which is more than I can say most of the time.

it looked really good and the animation LOOKED nice but it wasn't really

the effects were ok

the cartoon's humor and plot was really gay though and made me not want to watch it


the only thing other than the graphics that the cartoon had going for it was it wasnt really boring, there was background music and sound effects and movement all the time so at least thats something

I disagree that Halo is a good game. From a development standpoint it was tossed together incredibly lazily. It could be set up in such a cleaner better way. But that's my nitpicky view of how objects should be organised and stuff. Doesn't really affect gameplay, well it makes it more preocessor heavy, but it's an E-Box so that isn't a problem really. Unless your Mass Effect. God that game lags.

ANYWAY! I just find ths story in Halo lame and boring. It's all been done before. The characters are pretty one dimensional, which is lame for a story-driven game. And multiplayer is ok amongst friends, but I can think of loads of way better and more fun games to play. Timsplitters for instance. I also hate all the graphics in Halo. Yeah they're rendered well, but thats just the machines ability to handle it. The designs are uniteresting and bland and lack any real artistic flair or style. Any generic FPS team could have come up with them really.

I find Halo waaaaaaaaaay overrated, at any stretch. Also the gameplay remains exatly the same for the whole duration of the game. It never shifts, and it doesn't really get any harder as you play along. It's just run run run shoot shoot hide shoot run shoot reapeat. It get's pretty tiresome. The vehicles feel like a rushed last minute attempt to spice it up.


Anyway, I'm harsh on alot of games usually. I prefer lots of style in my games. If it is kooky and weird and filled with flair, then other shit I let slide. Otherwise, I'm tough to impress.
