What's up with the new Ai fruit love island

If you've been around the internet as of recent you might've heard of the fruit love island thing going around.
And yes, it's exactly what it sounds like.

It's been compared to the whole Italian brain rot faze of the internet with how it's cast is mainly comprised of AI generated fruits.
Unironically, these things are racking MILLIONS of views and likes.
This is the same reason why RAM costs 900 btw😭
But what do you think of the whole subject? I honestly wish that whoever came up with this idea is an unoriginal crapbasket, but I'm curious on what you think

i think it's a bit psyop-ish as it's pretty clear that the account is botted to hell and the people reporting on it are only doing so because they know it will drive clicks. there is so much of this garbage out there, there's nothing different or shocking that this AI fruit channel is doing that hasn't been done elsewhere. i'm sure there are some people genuinely watching it but it's maybe 10% of the accounts.

if anything i see it as a sign that the dead internet theory is real and accelerating at a rapid pace.

I did asume that it was obvious that most of the views are botted, but the fact that real people are watching it in the first place even if the chance of that being 1% still kind of astounds me
