next you're gonna tell me that rally attendances directly correlate with turnouts. that went well for sanders

and yes the dnc is a corrupt and undemocratic institution, they most certainly manipulated the vote to some degree, and they will continue to try and spin the media (it's glaringly obvious if you watch CNN for 2 minutes) and rig the polls - but the only way they can be taken down a notch is if they are beaten. i know a lot of trump supporters will try to convince themselves that nobody actually supports hillary, that the polls are biased, the system is against them etc, regardless of whether those things are true or not (and the first one certainly isn't) the republican party has to be unified and run a huge ground game against the dnc. right now neither of those things are happening, you even have key republican figures refusing to endorse the nominee and splitting factions.

the debates will be interesting to watch but right now things aren't looking pretty for the don

yes, because it isn't a literal vote. there is some correlation to social media mentions to poll performances, but you have to remember both trump and clinton had millions of followers before the elections and a follow doesn't imply a vote.

it's not just polls but prediction models as well, the best of which are rarely wrong.

all battleground states are currently a losing battle for trump. i don't know if it has to do with the convention bump, the khan comments or something else, but whatever it is something's got to give
