What'd I miss I was at my dumb dead end job.

SrsSam77

I didn't see I was in class until the damn debate ended but that isn't stopping me from voting for trump in online polls and shitposting

going to scrape around for a vod of the debate so I can enjoy it and a glass of wine

rtil

trump winning all those online polls by yuge numbers just like ron paul and bernie sanders did, this can only mean certain victory in november

slack

a lot of stupid things were said at the debate, by both parties, but this takes the fucking cake

The difference is that neither of them made it out of the primaries nor erased and surpassed their opponents lead :^)

winning 25 out of 26 online polls by a landslide must sure be some kind of meme and have no impact on the real world at all right guise XDDDD #ImWithered!

p.s. moderator was doing his damned best to throw the debate to hillary and Trump still managed win in the end and especially with undecided's
I can't blame Holt though because had he done anything less than lower Trump into a vat of acid on live tv he would've gotten matt lauer'd

just like with the rallies you're missing the point

young people go online and vote on internet polls, boomers don't

boomers go to the actual polls, young people don't

millenials aren't really enthusiastic about shillary but will it actually make any difference? it's a tight race

to add onto that i can't believe there are people actually torn between trump and hillary, they have almost nothing in common on policy or personality

i wonder who is the 2nd choice of most johnson supporters, he's sapping away a significant chunk of voters

SrsSam77

you say this again and again but if 20,000 people are willing to show up to a rally 8 hours beforehand for a chance to get a foot in the door then you can be damn sure they'll find time after work to go vote

and you say "oh well online polls are different it's just like bernie" but it's not, republican voters showed in the primaries they could get up off their asses and go vote and in return the 2016 republican primary season showed a record high republican voter turnout that has  never  been  seen  before. This is not counting that in certain key states republican new voter registration is massively outpacing dem registration and in some cases thousands of dems are switching, such as in the case of the 60k massachussetes dems from back in february.

even if a chunk of the people showing up in online polls are bernouts as you seem to think them all, they'd have to be a special kind of stupid to not learn from their first missed chance back in the primaries and use this chance on nov 8th go and vote

ok but online polls can be brigaded, voting booths cannot. online polls rarely accurately reflect anything, otherwise pollsters would use them. anyone can vote in an online poll. it is not representative of a likely voter, a registered voter, or even a united states citizen. brigaded polls can also have a damaging effect by making the winning side believe they are winning when in actuality they are losing, and consequently believing that all other polls are rigged and ignoring the math behind the actual numbers.

this happened to the GOP in 2012 btw. the election is very close. don't make the mistake of getting comfortable and declaring victory. especially since hillary has the bankers, media and wealthiest donors on her side

SrsSam77

Did you read my post, I mentioned online polls but then heavily leaned into the record high republican voter turnout and registration
it's not like this matters though trump has already won the election on the 85130750751^23 dimensional persuasion chess board
even liberal pundits can feel the landslide coming (michael moore has already bent over in anticipation)

what about on the other side of the fence? how many #nevertrump people are going to show up to the polls? they're both the most unlikable candidates in history and not by very different margins. the problem is you are only looking at this from one angle. obviously trump has the more enthusiastic supporters, people turned out in the primaries and the party reluctantly embraced him. but how many won't?

i think the only thing that can absolutely ensure a trump victory is another big dox drop regarding her emails and DNC leaks nearing election day. because people forget about them too quickly, but if it's fresh on people's minds it could sink her.

i guess what i'm saying is is that the only person that can sink hillary is herself.

SrsSam77

>trump himself has the highest republican primary voter count in history
>#nevertrumps dying ashes (will be less than ashes after glenn beck and clock boy's dad get done suing glenn beck) will be enough to hurt republican turnout

afaik bill kristol is the only #NeverTrump-er left and since his nurse assistant left him to go vote for trump he'll die from soiled diapers any moment now

and I see what you're saying about looking at this from only one angle but from all the news I've seen, data I've collected, and social psychology I've been reading up on and analyzing thanks to my dilbert man scotty boy, we're heading to trump dominance.
Hell, nate tin finally updated five thirty eight and put trump ahead of clinton for the first time, which is amazing because nate, the man who is allegedly the single best data analyst and poller of this generation, said trump only had a 0.3% of making it out of the primaries initially

this is a game being played on  a 4d chess board where the facts don't matter and everything you know is lie, if it wasn't, it'd be jeb! vs hillary

He may have looked so so in this debate, but all he needed to glide through was look presidential, expect him to have solid policy details and to slam clinton in the next debate

rtil

i'd say he was strong in the first half of the debate but then started to get really defensive and interrupted too much. but the debate "moderator" was really more like having a tag teamer for hillary on-stage so given that point i think he did pretty well.

Uh you do know that they were all brigaded by /pol/ and /r/The_Donald right? There are screencaps floating everywhere of panicked Trump supporters linking all the polls that showed Hillary far in the lead and going FIX THIS SHIT while others posted instructions on how to vote multiple times by resetting your IP or using proxies.

For example, Time's poll showed Hillary winning in their poll at 70% 20 minutes after the debate ended. She was the definitive winner and everyone knew it. You can also tell because Trump supporters, instead of their usual thought-rich commentary of HILLARY BTFO and CAN'T STUMP THE TRUMP they started shouting how everything was totally rigged/unfair and that loony nonsense about 4D Chess/9D Backgammon/22D Hungry Hungry Hippoes. Really shows that deep down you know he screwed up. Not to mention how since the debate, the election projection sites have shown Trump's odds decreasing, just in the past day alone the gap widened by several percentage points.
