Best thing about winter: Wearing leather jackets near constantly. I wish I had more of them.

What is that white stuff?

In all seriousness we barely ever get snow here. Last year we got a massive snowstorm for the first time in my life, and it was amazing, but I was like 10 before I saw any real snow (meaning more than an inch), and even then it was just like 4 inches.

You people are so lucky, it's SUMMER where I am.  and it's literally only ever snowed at my home ONCE in my life.

Bamyasi

Dust how do you guys not fall off the earth down there.

Do you wear sticky shoes or something?

Dust

We hide magnets underground so that gravity is "reversed".

worst part about winter: when it's really cold but no snow in sight

Bamyasi

I enjoy jumping up and down the sidewalks on the hills on my way to work, which never ever get plowed or shovelled. The way the snow grabs and holds my boots and could (I assume) act as a cushion if I fell is primally reassuring. And kicking up snow is as fun as splashing water.

It snowed here yesterday for the first time this winter, which looked like it was sticking for a little bit but had cleared up by the morning. Otherwise we've just been getting lots of rain and flooding which isn't all that exciting or enjoyable. The only two times it's snowed to any significant degree, we were basically grounded and unable to leave the house. Fortunately I guess, I was living with my parents at the time. It's in the middle of nowhere, but at least they do tend to stock up on canned food and stuff to set on fire inside our house. Living on my own, I don't do this any more. I guess I'm just not as prepared for a Zombie outbreak as I used to be.

I did not expect it to snow today. That made me so happy to wake up all tired and dreary, then opening my window and seeing a sea of snow.

I get to wear all my favorite clothing at the same time without getting a heat stroke.

Dust

Overcast is my favourite weather.
