i didn't get any romantic feelings between rey and finn. yes finn was asking about a boyfriend at the beginning i'm sure he finds her attractive but he didn't seem to be romantically pursuing her and rey didnt' seem interested at all. i think she cares about him as a friend, he almost died.. i don't see a kiss on the forehead of a guy who might be in a coma as something romantic

• why is there snow on the starkiller base? it absorbs the power of the sun and stores it inside of it, it must be hot as fuck there

my guess is that since this planet seems to be able to move it was terraformed and since it no longer has an orbit or a real sun/star the planet essentially died and most of the time it's probably freezing cold on it. still there probably shouldn't be any snow near where the star is absorbed but the rest of it might

by the time ROTS came out i was 18 and i was not as impressionable. i remember laughing at the Vader reveal scene. laughing at how bad it was, watching it in the theater thinking, oh my god, is this really happening? they left this in the movie and didn't think it was funny? i'm not supposed to be laughing, am i?

when i released this cartoon, my journey towards the cynical side was complete

saw it a 2nd time on a real 70mm imax screen, it was a lot better this time around. i picked up on so much more stuff watching it again, especially lots of little details. even from the very beginning, the old man giving Poe the piece of the map used to live on Alderaan because he said to Poe regarding Leia, "to me she's royalty". totally missed that the first time. also the chase/falcon scene was shot in imax format, so there's a lot more to the frame. the frame goes from this

for about 5 minutes, and it works really well for the sequence

Seeing The H8ful 8 in 70mm really made me miss the noticeable screen flicker. Wasn't it glorious?

Rey's been abandoned for pretty much her entire life, so when BB-8 says that it was Finn's idea to come back for her it might have been the first time that someone had ever come back for her.

I'd believe that there may eventually be a romantic interest but right now I think Finn's probably the only real friend she's ever had, which I imagine means a great deal to her

probably not for script/pre-production reasons though as i'd imagine that's already been done. i'd rather they delay it and make a better film anyway. a year and a half gap is pretty short
