i'm adding the highlander pl map today, i'll probably add these throughout the next week. we already have over 80 maps so i'd like to take it one at a time

last time i joined it was just me and slack for only 5 minutes.
since then its been pretty quiet.

another server would be cool, even if it will die in 3 months

 im a little too busy to play on it like i was but ill be back on it eventually. the thing about the tf2 server is you can't just hop on and expect people to magically show up, you've got to find ways to let everyone know you want to get people on to play. that's why we have the irc, the steam group, the skype group, etc. it's always been that way.

also keep in mind that school just started for a lot of people so there's less free time to go around.

the difference this time is that the server we have isn't costing me anything to run, so i won't take it down just because it experiences periods of inactivity.

if we were to do a weekly tournament for TBA folk with item giveaways i'm assuming people would prefer the weekends? it'd be cool to get together at least once a week on it

just a reminder if you're a server admin and you're one of the last out please don't leave the server on a custom map like clocktown or sandsharks

i can't play much until november but i'll try to organize something then. in the meantime, the server sees pubs usually once or twice a day, especially on newer maps. it's far more likely that pubs will come in if you pick an event map
