This is the official Codename: Kids Next Door appreciation topic.

Kids Next Door was the best program on Cartoon Network and graced us with its brilliant humor, amazing animations, animated voice overs from the likes of Lauren Tom of Futurama and Joy Luck Club fame (Numbuh 3), and Dee Bradley Baker of American Dad fame (Numbuh 4). The plots were witty and complex and the character development was amazing. Who didn't love the simple pilot like No P in the Ool and dramatic made for TV movies like Operation ZERO? Father was THE best CN villain. Period.

To give you the scoop if you don't remember the show, Kids Next Door was about five ten-year-olds who were fighting against adult tyranny ruining America. It consisted of a diverse group of kids that included a Brit, a an American born boy with an interest in aviation, a cute and lovable Japanese girl, an African American girl, and an aggressive Australian boy. They used kid made technology and gadgets to protect themselves from tyrannical adult villains like Mr. Boss and Cuppa Joe.

Ended in 2008. Want more. Really one of the best American cartoons ever and regardless of your age it had a little bit of everything. Hilarious humor that was a fusion of that of daytime CN and Adult Swim shows.

Post your favorite episodes and operatives.

It was a good show! Yes it had its bad moments but it was mostly good. Good writing, good plots, good animation, etc

I am 21 and I still like KND. Stopped watching it regularly when I was 11 but I rediscovered it last year and I am hooked. I came to this site seeing as it's full of animation buffs so I'm sure there's KND fans and enjoyers here.

Also Kuki/Numbah 3 is my fav

It wasn't boring. It was a good show full of action and references to other movies and TV series. There were also sexual innuendo jokes and in one case Numbah 3 pointing out that a teenager was wearing a bra. Yes, innocent Numbah 3 said the word bra and a male teen was wearing it and calling it battle ready armor.

Lol oh Kuki

Dust

I thought it was boring at the time but then more boring shows came on and I kind of missed it in retrospect. I'd take it over Johnny Test any day.
Yeah I'll say it was a decent show but it was pretty hit and miss for me.

I loved KND, and I still like it as much as someone who hasn't watch it in years can. Three was also my favorite.

Probably the thing I liked best was all the stupid tech, and how the kids' organization 'worked'. I loved the lore of the world, if I can say that without being shot. Seeing how the creators had fun with the concepts and themes they worked with was great.
