Oh god yes. Everyone should own one of these. You can get them cheap as fuck from Amazon or Bed Bath & Beyond.

I haven't bought much stuff recently because the dollar is so weak but when I get back to the States I will go back to being a huge consumer whore.

I bought it after someone let me play with a keyboard they had that was similar and showed me how much faster it is to use one compared to sequencing each note in a song individually with a mouse (which is exclusively how I operated beforehand)
the keys have some velocity problems with a few plugins I've tried and some of the knobs won't register with my sequencers interface, but it was relatively cheap and really does make composing much easier
