I just found it....boring? I mean the art was great but there were a lot of segments where it was nothing but internal monologuing with trippy scenery or background. I guess it falls down to a pacing issue. It took them three episodes to do what any other series would do in one or two.

Nisemonogatari was much more boring imo, probably because they were just two stories lengthened out into a small series.

hah just reminded me of watching this little series back in the day. Thought it was pretty cool.

one of the reasons that i've always liked nichijou is because there's always a simple beauty to it- despite its outlandishness, it feels unmistakably human

this ed flaunts that by walking you through their world, with characters that have all at least made one appearance in the series

Huh? IIRC that was the OP for the entire series as it was broadcast. Did they change it for Netflix or the DVDs? Because it's not unheard of for Netflix to change music that they don't have the rights to stream. They did that for Skins (UK TV series)
