I think members who make introduction threads are less likely to stay in the long run. Probably because most of them make total fools of themselves and regret it later.

It's better to just start posting and exploit the aura of mystique.

funny... now that i think about it, forums i have made intros on are the ones i do in fact end up leaving. tba and one other site are the only two i still kinda stay updated with
