AoE 2: now with steamplay support and slightly updated graphics. still the same game for the most part though. played it yesterday a few times and it's more fun than i expected for a 14 year old rts. could really use an attack move command!

anyway, who wants to play with me? i'm undefeated so far

I never had AoE2, I downloaded it a couple years ago and played twice over hamachi or whatever. I still play AoE3 occasionally. Really wish they were still around to make AoE games rather than that shitty Age of Empires Online pay to win shit which they finished with.

I really loved the nintendo DS versions of AoE and AoM which were turn based even if they were buggy.

it does indeed have steamworks and it works like you'd expect

one thing that is strange is that in-game there is sometimes lag, as in performance lag, and there really shouldn't be. also it may take a while getting used to the old framerate which is pretty bad for today's standards.

if you didn't play aoe2 as a kid..you probably will not enjoy this game as it has a lot of the shortcomings rts games had back then. i dunno, i mean i still think it is fun but i am biased because i played the hell out of it when i was a kid.

i would really like a new real aoe sequel. aoe online is stupid
