jesus christ, I scrolled down the page quickly to see what the last few posts were and I had to look at this picture twice (without reading your text) to figure out whether it was concept art for another stretch-goal Skullgirl character or not.
Upon realizing that it was not I was disappointed.

but zone is not cool, he's a waste

and hiring him to work on a project like skullgirls

it's like casting ron jeremy in a movie that isn't about his ten-foot dick

as previously stated, i had little interest in this game to begin with beyond maybe picking it up on sale on steam if it had multiplayer

now i'd rather just pirate it to spite them because fuck zone and everyone who works with him

even if you don't like his stuff, he's actually a good animator. and, he's very good at working in the style he's needed to. they wouldn't have hired him if he couldn't do that , because you have to take an animation test in order to get in. a lot of people dont' make it past that phase

the way he makes his paycheck doesn't detract in the slightest from him being a fine artist and animator. also comparing an animator getting an animation job to a pornstar acting in a normal film is way too obtuse a comparison.

it will have multiplayer on steam though for the record

Pledged $100 the other day, and I'm really liking some of these Mysterious Characters. Stanley sounds awesome and Eliza's blood mechanics could be interesting. Looking forward to playing any of you that get it for Steam.

actually, the pledges were for people contributing towards the creation of the characters. and it's 5, not 4. squigly, big band, robo-fortune, and two fan-voted characters which people who donated get to choose.

if you just want the new characters, anyone can get them all for free for the first 3 months of their release. the base game is only $15.

the $829k in donations goes exclusively towards development - paying the extremely talented group of programmers and artists that make the game. whether you like or dislike the game, you can't argue with the fact that it has an extremely passionate and supportive fanbase, and for good reason

I had some disposable income lying around and wanted all of the donator rewards up to that point. Call me a sucker, but knowing my money goes to paying talented people like MikeZ and rtil doesn't sound that retarded to me. Richer people pay more money to dumber forms of art than this.

anyways, sure, he's dedicated his career to drawing naked anime characters getting fucked by tentacles- but i think you're under the assumption that since zone does hentai, he must have had loli in the mix; or at the least he's done hentai involving zone-tan (which is supposed to be based off of his daughter i think), yet he's done neither of those things.

but yeah 'anime gay/hentai gross' whatever, carry on
