i was talking with sheepy earlier and i was reminded  of a really weird commission request i got once, and it got me thinking that i'm not sure there has ever been a thread here documenting all the strange messages we have received on the internet in the past.

got a message on the internet in the past that was weird, funny, full of rage, or just sticks out to you? post it here. don't post names unless you think it's appropriate.

and just for the record, i have a HUGE backlog of shit like this, so i got plenty to follow up this one.

my first entry will be this commission offer i got from someone on deviantart, who wanted me to animate their "horror comedy" (aka fetish) series about girls who eat garbage with stretchy vacuum mouths.

  It was great meeting you the other day.  I'm going to keep the storyline, storyboards simple for this teaser in the interest of time and effort.  Basically, the storyline:

Establishing shot of the moon and then pans down to a hillside with the moon in the background.
Killer walking forward and becomes more in view.
Killer enters woods and kills 2 vampires in a skirmish.
Killer approaches a spooky looking house.
Killer kicks the door in.
Screen goes to black and then says: Vampires beware.  Killer.  Coming Soon. 2012

  Let me know if this sounds doable to you and if any changes need to be made for you to do this.  I'm not concerned with it looking extremely detailed or exactly like my drawings.  Just have fun with it.  I'll send reference and the storyboards probably Tuesday of next week.

I wish I could find this guys website cause it was unintentionally funny as shit. So much bad tracing of 90's MARVEL COMICS art with hilarious 2-edgy-4-me characters with dumb names. And the ones that werent traced had such fucked up anatomy. Like that one kid in art class who only drew DRAGONBALLZ and couldnt draw fuck else. Only apply that to a massive scary 30 year old guy from the ghetto who sounded like he pops his glock into the popo at least twice a day on his way to dunkin donuts.

Then my friend probably wonders why I don't answer his phone calls anymore.

That's not a great start to a professional relationship. If I was going to commission you to make an official video for us I would need to trust you with unreleased material (usually several weeks before even music journalists get to hear it) and also that you would deliver a finished video after you'd been paid for it. The fact that you can't even give me your number or address is ringing all kinds of warning bells. If you're that concerned about litigation perhaps you should stop illegally using other peoples music.

I used to get all kinds of weirdos messaging me on aim back when there were so few people on it you could literally just scroll through a list of them and pick a random person to message, like some straight up time cube shit

nowadays the only random messages I get are weirdos on steam trying to get my unusual, the best offer was i think like 450$, everything in their tf2 inventory and some steam games and the worst one was a guy that just persistently begged me to give it to them for a crusaders crossbow

I used to get some pretty cool emails of just flat admiration when I was still doing the music thing
