after weeks of a bombardment of ads (oh god make it stop) it's finally out

i saw it today and i enjoyed it. my interest was starting to waiver as it went on but act 3 of the movie pays off in good ways.

the cameo characters are mostly there for the sake of being there, which is what i expected. overall the animation and design is really fun, and it's worth seeing. not the best movie ever but certainly memorable. i give it 7 meeples out of 10

here here, i definitely liked it. it was worth the watch good sir. i'm probably gonna watch again just so i can see what character cameos are there. i know i've seen at least a dozen of 'em. Good voicing, lots of heart to the film, the ending actually took me by surprise and i really enjoyed that aspect.

one thing to note is that audience members unfamiliar with q*bert (most) were extremely puzzled by his language. i had to explain it to everyone i watched it with. and i was not the oldest person in my group.

are you friggin serious? that's kind of sad. i thought q*bert would hit home with a lot of older folks.

you'd think so but i guess not. i'd assume people around my age would know about q*bert too but they didn't
