I'm not sure if anyone here cares about something like this, but I figured I'd mention I'm running a small freelance animation crew now. It's called Yotta. We do animation work for people, usually youtube guys.

I have to ask, where is the music from and how did you come up with the name of your animation label?

sev

the music is the instrumental for the queen song, "I want to break free"

the name comes from... here. It's the largest SI unit prefix, representing septillion (think mega, giga, tera, etc)

A Hellbenders Christmas

no, they are freelancers, which means they do it all for free.
no strings attached, they just love spending their own time to do other people's work. Usually hours upon hours of work. They love doing that for free of course.

Great work you guys, hope to see some more stuff soon!

Oops sorry, I didn't see this! It depends on how complex an animation is, how long it is, and how long we have to do it. Usually we prefer if clients pitch us budgets, though.

Also, two new things:

STARBARIANS - Episode 1.5

http://www.collegehumor.com/video/6874089/bearshark-space

Two projects related to Harry Partridge came out recently, Starbarians 1.5 and an episode of BearShark. From this site, Lenko and I worked on Starbarians 1.5 and Zekey did all the backgrounds on BearShark! If you're interested in catching new eps of BearShark, you can find them on the CollegeHumor site or on the video stream for the 3DS.

Sinitron

too bad everyone who watches it will think it's that no-talent scum douchebag who did all the work

sev

I think Harry's good! The one that makes me sad in particular is BearShark because I'm pretty sure CH isn't crediting us on that one...

I get what you're saying though, after enough credits and marketing, eventually people will probably get a better idea of who we are. Right now all that matters is clients know who we are atm

what the hell is gregg wallace doing on cnn

"He was shown the smallness and tinsel emptiness of the little Earth gods, with their petty, human interests and connections - their hatreds, rages, loves and vanities; their craving for praise and sacrifice and their demands for faiths contrary to reason and nature."
