i do like the animation on MLP. i've only ever seen a few episodes, but that really was the main thing i liked about the series. it's certainly a well written cartoon, and overall it's pretty well rounded imo. it's just that as much as i wanted to love it, i just never really found it that entertaining or fun to watch for whatever reason. it's not really my thing.

but there's nothing wrong with ponies. though, i did have a friend back in CA who had a collection of pony plushes that were handmade. he bought them off of ebay for $50 a plush. that's like $300 for the 6 ponies. plus he had a pinky pie wallet that set him back $40 or so.

though i can't really judge because i collect rare vinyl, and that can really set me back sometimes.

the idea of bronies is funny, and by that i mean i like the word "brony" itself. cuz like obviously the show is aimed at little girls, but it does have a kind of universal appeal. i dont think the fanbase is unwarranted but it obviously is a bit odd that a bunch of 17-30 year old males are obsessing over it. i think "brony" is a pretty humorous label.
