i'm really excited about this! i'm hoping that when it eventually gets dubbed, it won't get 4kid'ed and lose all of its adult content

Holy shit, the even bigger news here is that that means there might even be more DoReMi episodes! The reason why they kept continuing DoReMi after season 3 was because they wanted to have more episodes than Sailor Moon and thus be the longest "magical girl" anime in the world. (Doremi: 201 episodes, Sailor Moon: 200).

On a more related topic, I grew up with sailor moon so that's cool!

my guess is that funimation will be the ones doing the dubbing, in which case it will be ranging anywhere from average to amazing

it wouldn't be hard to one-up the original sailor moon dub anyway

They say it's an adaptation of the manga, so I'm guessing they're starting from the beginning. Toei has been really cheap with animation lately (Saint Seiya Omega), but I'm hoping they splurge on this. REALLY hoping they do. :I

4kids is still around? FUNimation will probably get it. They've been trying to license the original series since forever.
