I was a big reddittor, but not just 2 weeks ago I deleted my 4 year old account. I just got really sick of the misogyny and circle jerking. Fuck memes, they ran that shit into the ground. I occasionally lurk, but only to the sub reddits. r/opendirectorys is fantastic for freebies, r/pokemon helps remind me to get event items and r/anime just to keep in the know about anime trends.  4chan's boards are more helpful then reddit lately. I frequent the  /co/mics and /ic/ (art critic).  Way back in the habbo raid days, I was a B-tard. Then that chanology shit brought a new kind of bro-troll to B, and no lulz were had ever again.

the misogyny sometimes is incredibly astounding, some of the stuff that gets voted to the front page. but then you go to the comments and the top one is often about how mysogynistic reddit can be , i think it's obvious that the casual browsers are probably more respectable people than the ones who sit in the "new" tab all day trying to push and pull stuff to the front.

i have an account solely to keep my front page conveniently organized with the subreddits i like. saves a lot of time and trouble actually going to other subreddits
