It just shows he is an insane psychopath, there wasn't much they could do that wouldn't reveal his background character. He is meant to be mysterious. I don't think fleshing out his character was really on the cards.

That filmmaker looks pretty sweet. Too bad I'm a dunce and have no idea how to use a program like that.

it's probably just like any other 3d animation program except you can only render it with source and use stuff that valve's already made. there's also probably some painstaking process of importing custom made stuff in it as well

So in a way, it's similar to GMOD? Enlighten me, I've never used the program. I know that GMOD is a sandbox type game where you can create your own content or import it. Though most movies using GMOD are done in collaboration with other multimedia programs, Photoshop, Vegas, etc.

no no, i meant that it's like 3dsmax or maya. i've never used gmod. but it does seem like a mix of gmod (premade assets) and maya (rendering engine, complex animation/staging/camera tools)
