I just tried to find my old "art" thread on this board and I noticed that it was devastated for some weird reason... Not a problem for me since it was full of embarrassing bullshit anyway.

So I think it's about time to start a new thread full of embarrassing bullshit (or something like that...)
Meat n metal because in the past I have usually drawn dicks and rule34 (as I definitely could not keep up with all the other drawing talents in this place) but lately I discovered a new interest in making music projects which often go into the direction of rock and metal. As you guys already know, I am not really great at either of these activities but for me it's more about having fun while doing it.

Anyway, here's something that I just finished recently. Anyone who's familiar with Touhou should know the song:

I liked it. I generally prefer harsh vocals (but in this case thats almost irrelevant, and death metal is kinda an overshoot as a title but i understood what was meant) so yeah if you make more of this stuff and etc. I will look forward to checking it out

Oh boy... I was wondering how long it would take until the first one pointed it out. Yes, it can hardly be considered Death Metal. But picking a genre after randomly recording a song to your heart's content can be kinda tough. So instead of taking a long time to think about it I just chose the first tag that came to my mind and wrote it down on my whiteboard. When I videotaped the guitar I had the idea to add some ridiculousness by recording myself singing as well in order to avoid the impression of trying too hard. Also I didn't take it that seriously anyway. I originally chose the title because it is a blast to improvise to it and even though the song's theme actually is quite serious, I thought some self-sarcasm definitely wouldn't hurt.

Well, touhou has a huge fan-circle... and by huge I mean that there are more than a thousand bands who have specified or participated in covering touhou songs. And of course there are some metal ones among those too. Really good ones at that. But they either publish instrumental stuff or have soft female or clean male vocals, so yes, regarding that matter it might actually be something new...

Not to shabby. I have to say I though you were going to go through the whole animation on the white board at first, that would have been pretty crazy, although not as crazy as of the other things some of the seriously dedicated fans have done.

Although to be honest, once I'd heard any of Demetori's metal covers of touhou music, I don't think I could have it any other way 
(he hasn't done bad apple yet though, so you might have the upper hand !)

Not to shabby. I have to say I though you were going to go through the whole animation on the white board at first, that would have been pretty crazy, although not as crazy as of the other things some of the seriously dedicated fans have done.
