listening through the whole thing, i like it better when you sing straight up rather than using the more abrasive yelling/screaming/growling/whatever you want to call it. it just fits your voice better, and your singing is getting better.

trent bortknob

to clear things up, i only sing melodically in this band. we have two vocalists

well not anymore im not

rtil

wait so now you're not in bread club? what you got a NEW band now? think you can just make a band whenever you want?

Philip K Dick

i asked you before if that was you and you said you did all the vocals so wtf

trent bortknob

rtil - i moved so i had to quit the band, and the band just broke up when i left

armon - i dont remember that but no there are two vocalists. the one that sounds like me is me and the one that doesnt sound like me is the other one. he mainly screams and shit but he sings on like two songs (bread club live at the hard rock cafe and the punx i no)

sev

why did you respond to rtil and armon and not me huh? what do you think you're some kinda ballin bangin badass boss now?

trent bortknob

rtil

bread club more like dead club

Philip K Dick

anigen you were the other vocalist right

sev

yeah i made the comment about the screaming because i didn't like my own screaming

dilly

i liked the instrumentals, but i didn't like the vocals. i thought they didn't fit with the music. i know this has already been said, but the screaming and exaggerating vocals were distracting from the nice instrumentals you all had.

<@reptilicus> am I in backwards land?
<@reptilicus> if i go to the toilet will poop go up into my rectum

trent bortknob

i think they fit juuuuust fine.

trent bortknob

it is odd to me that this is a common criticism, most people i know IRL say that they couldn't imagine bread club having different vocalists. that's not saying whether or not they like the vocals, but it implies that they think the vox go with the music, which is one thing that no one on TBA seems to think.

trent bortknob

i guess it makes sense though, since all of the people i knew in san jose who listened to bread club already liked all of our influences for the most part. and the only guy on tba i know who is into the bands that influenced us is TMK.
