I know. I posted it on my facebook with the sentiment that I wouldn't normally care about the Miss America pageant, but even if it's just a vocal minority, it really bothers me that people like this still exist and I have to share a country with them. It's like last year, when the Hunger Games movie came out. Hundreds of people actually complained that they didn't care as much about a character dying because she wasn't the little white girl they pictured reading the books, but a little black girl instead. What the fuck.

I'm willing to bet you'd find loads more tweets than the ones posted if you went looking, but I'm not going to because I'd be happier not reading them.
