i agree, mormonism is pretty terrible, i was just pointing out the irony of a christian propaganda piece that is going against another religion.

you should read the book "under the banner of heaven" by john krakauer, if you haven't already. you might think it's a little dull, but it's filled with a lot of interesting and sometimes disturbing facts about mormonism, told from an objective perspective (krakauer never really reveals his personal beliefs and prefers to keep accounts and details told from an objective, journalistic point of view. i suspect that he's agnostic though)

this might sound sappy, but there would be times when i was reading a chapter that depicted fundamentalist mormons and fundamentalist mormon societies and i'd have to stop reading because it just got so terrible and disgusting.

i've only met one or two mormons in my whole life, all of them within the last few months, after i read the book. so for me it was eye-opening.

Going back to mormons, we had a group of mormons come into my restaurants once. They tried converting upstairs my co-worker, and as part of her tip, they gave her the book of mormon

After a dramatic reading, i think we threw it into the trash.
