still haven't gotten around to finishing any route. for some reason i find this game really tiring even though i'd probably be obsessed with it if i ever sat down and played it.

clannad is boasted to be worth about 700 hours of total gameplay.

i got emi on my first run through, and so far she's my favorite, lilly being my second favorite :3

Well, yes! Especially for Clannad that is...
I'm not sure about the 700 hours but at one point I read something about a 300 hour guide.
Can't really say that this whole VN thing is my kind of concept so far but maybe I just haven't gotten into it yet... I've only come to finish Emi's route so far and I cannot say that it has really touched me... I found it kinda boring and predictable and while I know that certain kinds of simple literature can move me to tears, this game hasn't make it yet.
However, I bawled like a baby back when I watched the Clannad anime and even though I am a big fan of it, I would probably not play the original game for the reasons stated above.

well if you can get 300 hours of it guided i'm sure you can just as easily spend 700 hours playing it blind

some routes are not for everyone. and most people get emi on their first playthrough. my favorite was lilly's, rin's a close second, but i liked the others as well, and each one is quite different

only result i was quite surprised with was the majority of people liking misha's old haircut over her new one. i mean the drills are cool and all but they're a little silly. i love her shorter cut

just played through it and got hanako's route.

i am also surprised a lot of people cried at her route 'cause i didn't really get a lot of feels from it. she was pretty damn relatable though, but i felt like they just really didn't go into her past too much.

playing through it just really makes me want to see all the other routes.

a good way to get emi is to go back to the decision with the nurse and say that you will be serious about taking your medication. then you just ignore shizune and misha and you should get shoehorned into emi's path

oh, yes i've gotten all of my closest friends to play katawa shoujo, and only one has played every single route
it's ironic, the day his girlfriend broke up with him was the day i told him to play.
only two days later he had completed all of the routes
