as someone who has no idea what pitchfork or chillwave is and discovered best coast by accident through a remix on hypem over a year ago, they are one of my favorite bands and i love their sound.

yeah, all the songs are about weed and cats and crushes, but i don't give a shit. they're a throwback to beach rock and her voice is perfect for it.

but to your credit, you can't count "crazy for you" as one of the best albums of 2011, because it came out in 2010.

also the only album i can think of that i would put on this list is "what did you expect from the vaccines" by THE VACCINES

i hope some website someone doesn't like didn't say anything good about this band because then i guess i can't like them
