he was just making a joke.. in fact he was practically making fun of some of his own hardcore base of followers/campaigners during that time.

but he was also very naive as he had no idea how hard his job would be. you don't see him joke around or smile much anymore. the republicans have made his first term a living hell. that was basically their goal, and they definitely accomplished it.

redmongoose

he should have flew over to that oil mainline when it burst and sealed it with his heat vision damn son of a bitch

Wade is not gay, read his profile! It's sad that you would use sexual orientation as a joke, shows that you have no real sense of humor.

Ron Paul's my homie

redmongoose

hes in second place for the nomination behind some guy that thinks child labor would be a good way to keep juveniles from committing drug crimes on the streets (I hope Newt Gingrich gets killed in case anyone was wondering)

I (embarrassingly) thought Jon Perry was a good candidate until I found out he was a stupid bickering baby

Now (if I could vote) it's Ron Paul all the way

unlike perry, newt won't have to do anything embarrassing or stupid to ruin his current lead in the polls - his past will come back to haunt him. just like herman cain.

redmongoose

I do have to give props to herman caine for quoting one of the pokemon movies during his campaign  :porky:

lots of these candidates would be better late night talk show hosts than presidents, and i mean that.

i had a "debate" today with a manager and supervisor at work today about ron paul and other various political topics.

i call it a "debate" because it was more like my supervisor and i tried to have a conversation and my manager just kept talking over everyone and stating his uninformed and arrogant opinions. loudly. he claimed that ron paul was one of the dumbest people he'd ever seen, he was "booed by his own constituents", and was exposed as a liar numerous times, and that he was involved in many sketchy and embarrassing scandals. he of course didn't say what they were, but he assured me that they were appalling.

(i don't take my manager's opinions on anything very seriously, though. as you might be able to guess, his trademark arrogance and ignorance combination, combined with his loud mouth lead him to have many views that are not only extreme, but also extremely illogical. he doesn't believe in evolution, he thinks that everything that darwin ever wrote was proved to be false and unscientific, and that the earth is only a few thousand years old, and that that is supported by all of the current scientific evidence available. he also believes that evidence suggests that humans are devolving, and that humans were inventing better things at a more rapid rate a thousand years ago (this is so unbelievably obviously false that i really wonder how anyone could possibly believe it. we might have invented a lot of useful things, but the rate at which new things were invented has only risen over time). so yeah, his opinion doesn't matter much)

my supervisor and i talked later when my manager was gone, and he basically said "yeah, the only people i know of who like ron paul are hipsters. and well, that's you, man."

oh well.

rtil

sounds like he'd make a great fox news pundit

trent bortknob

yeah i was thinking something like that as i was recalling the shit he was saying. he definitely does sound like someone who is watching fox news and believing everything they say.

redmongoose
