Since I rightly assume that none of you illiterate pricks pay attention to the local Starcraft 2 thread, I figured I would link you to this;

While there was a demo released previously, it was offline, outdated and your progress was not retained. This version however is connected directly with your battle.net account, so any achievements and friends you might add are saved and can be accessed if you purchase the full game, although regional restrictions still apply. It has numerous features available;

- 5 complete missions from the single-player campaign.
- Access to the Terran race in custom games versus both other players and the AI.
- 4 maps which can be played both offline against the AI and online against other players.
- Fully functional friends list (though no access to other chat channels).

The install ticks in at a slightly intimidating 12 gigabytes, because it is actually the complete game with some features locked. This does however mean that if you do purchase the full game through battle.net, it will be instantly unlocked and available, with all patches applied already.
