bad news/good news time

bad news: jukebox has been out of commission since the mac update which according to the creator screwed up a bunch of shit

good news: while i was talking to him we were discussing what flash/javascript players need in order to make jukebox work again and he may have found one that can fix jukebox

also i remember some people started not being able to hear jukebox songs for some reason suddenly when we had it before so hopefully if we do get it back we can get around that issue too

uh well that probably had something to do with a very old official patch creating a bug

in its current form jukebox does not work at all on tf2 servers

yeah i gathered that part but didnt know it was a particular patch that caused the former issue

also i dont know about others but i didnt listen to the music during the more tense fights it was more distracting then anyone else feel similar?

i dont mind jukebox cause tbh i like hearing my own music/nothing while playing + it has a tendcency to cause lag on most computers I play in.

use "-window -noborder" launch options if you want to run your music player and are worried about lag from alt-tabbing back and forth.  you can switch back and forth seamlessly (or at least much faster if running in fullscreen) and we wouldn't need to do anything complex for something so expendable

This is true but you can appreciate the need to improve your individual skills just the same. Although normal arena maps do this just fine cause people often don't show the same levels of teamwork on this kind of map and you get lone people trying to kill everyone themselves. There's also the added bonus that it doesn't fucking go on forever and you have a goal you can still focus your teamwork onto should you decide you want to.
