looks pretty damn cool to me and a lot harder than the first portal game

I really loved the first one, and do plan on getting this sequel, but I'm kind of having trouble getting excited about it

kinda annoying that chell is the main character again after all the BS of getting out of the complex in the first game. kinda robs the ending of any meaning. i wonder how snakes have sex

Portal was a good idea but it was short, kinda boring and the whole cake is a lie thing is a dumb internet joke. I'd buy Portal 2 if it was $10, just like how much the first game was worth.

but i just feel like if a game like that was made by any company other than valve it wouldn't have such a huge following

it's not really acceptable to call a game that is easy and boring except for 1 level a solid game

i suppose the whole "portal" concept might have felt fresh at the time the game was released, but for me, it wasn't. it was just a more polished version of a game i had already played

portal 1 was too meandering and dull but 2 looks a lot more interesting from all the videos. not to mention portal 1 came included with team fortress 2 and half-life 2 episode 2, i wasn't really looking forward to it at all until i'd played it. was more like a nice little surprise than anything.

one good gimmick does not a good game make btw
